the
new project... Innocence Found
Tom Cleary and Sal Mingoia reformed The Innocence of Time and completed their first new album since 1983 (entitled Innocence Found ) The project was completed in November of 2001.
The CD (available on mp3.com) contains six new songs and two bonus tracks from the band's 1983 project.
One of the newly recorded songs on Innocence Found (entitled "Your Face Is All I See"), was actually written in 1983 by Sal and Tom , but never recorded on the 1983 Project.
The band's EvO:R Site will take fans behind the scenes with an interview as well as individual song pages, which discuss it's history. The band would like to thank Charlie Harrelson (founder of EvO:R) for all his support and Frank Cotolo for conducting the interview.
"We've received a very warm welcome since we've announced our new project," said Tom. "It really feels good to be recording again." "The material feels right, and everything's really falling into place."
The question I keep hearing [said Tom] is what are you guys planning to do next? Well, there are no "immediate" plans, but Sal and Tom are talking about recording a couple of singles soon. Writing is underway, so stay tuned.
Tom and Sal would like to thank their fans, supporters, and all of their musical influences from the 60's, 70's, and 80's.
"Thanks guys..... you're the best."
